Status of decisions taken in Kolkata NEC
1- Holding of Zonal meetings--could not be done because of threat of corona virus and lockdown. We will try through video conferencing
2-Non Payment of salary in HNL -issue was taken up with PMO which has been acknowledged by PM office and sent to concerned department.
3--Privatization of SCI--it was taken up with PMO which was acknowledged by PM office and sent to concerned department for further action.
4--Social media campaign to save public sector --Mr Sanjeet Kumar, GS, BELOA, Banglore voluntarily sought 15 days time to do this work by its own, but he failed to do so, therefore, now this work will be done through marketing agency as per Kochi, NGC decision.
5-Irregularities in the appointment of Director (Production ), MDL-- no details were provided by MDLOA, so case could not be taken up.As and when we get details from MDLOA, case will be taken up
6--Sealing on pension fund in defence PSUs---no details were provided by defence PSUs, as and when we get details of the case, we will take up the case at appropriate level
7. Addition of serving executives in EPS95 case- detailed procedure to send list of candidates and account no in which amount is to be deposited was shared with all concerned. Because of lockdown, no date in SC is fixed for our case.
8. Organizing some programme with a banner of strengthening each PSU on a common date...NCOA supported the trade union call by national trade unions by organizing programmes at unit level in some parts of the country.
9--NEC assigned Shri Dilip Sah, VP (East), the responsibility to strengthen east zone. Mr Dilip Sah, kindly do some thing through phone call and video conferencing along with Suvendhu Ghosh.
10--Struggle fund of Rs 100/-per member- as usual no response except ECIL.
We will review these NEC decisions in next NEC meeting and evolve some ways how to move ahead in this changing scenario in the light of corona virus spread.
