Resolutions passed in NEC Kolkata

1.       Holding of Zonal meetings: It was felt by NEC that  it is very much required to strengthen the zones and involve the  rank and file to make NCOA more strong to fight to protect the Public Sector and legitimate rights of the officers.  So it was decided to hold the Zonal meetings of all Zones in next two/ three months starting with the Zonal meeting of Karnatka zone. All Zonal Secretaries will decide the date of meeting in consultation with Secretary General.

2.       Non payment of salary in HNL for last 17 months: NEC resolved to take the  case of non-payment of salary in HNL with PMO and other authorities

3.       Privatization of SCI (Shipping Corporation of India): NEC resolved to take up the case of SCI disinvestment with PMO and other authorities

4.       Social Media Campaign to save Public Sector: A decision was taken in Kochi NGC that social media campaign through marketing agency will be started to save Public Sector and all OAs off different sectors will provide the material on their PSUs role in socio-economic development of the country. Only two sectors provided the details of their sector. It was seriously viewed by NEC and asked to provide the details/Material sought by CHQ immediately.  Quotations have been taken from marketing agency, but Mr Sanjeet Kumar, General Secretary; BELOA has voluntarily sought 15 days’ time to do this work of social campaigning on Face book, Youtube, twitter, instagram etc by its own.  If he fails to do so in 15 days time than it will be done as per Kochi NGC decision.

5.       Irregularities in the appointment of Director (production), MDL: This case will be taken up with DPE and other agencies after collecting details related to this matter

6.       Sealing on pension fund in defence PSUs :  This issue will be taken up with defence ministry and DPE.

7. Observing save public sector day in April month. Date will be communicated shortly
